TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rates valid from 01 January 2004 to 30 December 2005:

All rates are quoted per person in US dollars. Rates are net and inclusive of service charge and 10% VAT tax. Rates are subject to change according to market fluctuation if necessary. International Airport tax is not included unless specified.

Confirmation

All reservation requests will be confirmed within 24 hours. When the immediate confirmation is not possible, booking status will be advised in return by facsimile or email within 24 hours.

Deposits

In the event that EXPLORER TOURS is required to make deposits in order to secure your reservation, a relevant charge of approx. US200$ per person will be immediately invoiced to you.

Payments

1. Full payment must be settled through our Hanoi Office prior to client's arrival/or by any option date given in our reply at the time of booking, unless credit facility and/or specific terms and agreement has been made in advance, otherwise all reservations will be cancelled automatically. Payment can be made by Bank Draft or SWIFT transfer payable to our Bank A/C. Remark: All Bank service charge will be paid by the payee.

2. If payment is by credit card, an additional 3% will be added on to our tariff rates. Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

Refund and Cancellation
1. Deposits are fully refundable if the amendment/cancellation is received by our office in Hanoi more than 30 days in advance.

2. Cancellation fees will be levied according to the time cancellation is made.

3. No refund or reduction will be made to any member of GROUP/F.I.T who breaks the journey from the itinerary or any part of the itinerary in Vietnam.

Child Rate
Under 5 years: free of charge and no meal/no bed (Sharing with adult)
Between 5-12 years: Sharing room WITHOUT extra bed pay 30 % adult fare, WITH extra bed pay 50 % fare.

Tour Leaders
Services are provided free of charge for one tour leaders with every 15 paying passengers.

F.O.C for the tour leader is on twin shared basic. Single room can be arranged with single surcharge. F.O.C for the tour leader with group less than 15 passengers can be arranged with special request.

Guides
All service will be provided with qualified English, French and Spanish speaking guides. Other foreign language-speaking guide can be arranged on request with surcharge.

Insurance
Insurance is not included in the tour cost, but Explorer Tours can assist you to insure yourself comprehensively for the full duration of your tour. Passengers are strongly advised to have full travel insurance.

Liability
Explorer Tours acts as an intermediary between transportation and airlines companies, hotels, tourist offices and all contractors providing services for tourists. As such Explorer Tours is not liable for any loss, injury or damage caused said parties.

In order to take liability for loss, injury or damage caused by Explorer Tours to passengers during the journey operated by Explorer Tours, Explorer Tours has anticipated the PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE POLICY covered by Vietnam Insurance Corporation.
