Da
Lat Flower Festival to attract 60,000 visitors
The
Central Highlands province of Lam Dong is expected
to receive 60,000 visitors, including 5,000
foreigners, to the Da Lat Flower Festival 2005
to be held from December 10-18.
Entitled "Da
Lat - city of flowers", the festival will
take place in the central part of Da Lat and
nearby areas. The event will present as many
as one million flowers of different species
from the country and other famous flower-growing
countries like the Netherlands, Bulgaria, China
and Thailand.
During the week-long festival,
visitors will enjoy street parades of flower
cars and flower boats and will attend flower
exhibitions, flower arranging performances and
meet with famous flower-growing artisans from
Da Lat.
